well he did say come here in mk1 the game. i was surprised too, always thought it was get over here until i recently played mk1 for old time sake and lo and behold, he did say "come here!" when doing the grappling kunai. i think its because the first movie had imprinted that "get over here" into my mind all these years.

I’m so looking forward to seeing this movie! I don’t think there was a high budget movie but it looks great. I def hope there is a sequel.

This movie gives out nasty Mulan vibes. Based on the trailer it might just do as poorly as MK Annihilation & MK Aftermath. 90s movies helped shape the game however, this is just regurgitated crap from the new games that strip the feel the old MK games had.

I'm just nervous about the Cole Young character

There have been a few games where he interchangeably says "come 'ere!" as well as "get over here!" the latter is the more iconic of the two though

it does seem a little sluggish in the fight scene department. i mean it's not a bruce lee flick or ip man, but it seems it should be turned 1.25 speed to get more flow in the choreography. still wouldn't miss it though.

i think it was good but i wish the colors were more appealing. without seeing subzero's and scorpion's weapons, it was hard to say who they were which was never a problem before thanks to their colors. also i hope mileena's look will not be how they showed it in the trailer. that looked like a cheap makeup

This looks sic as hell. R rated, action galore, and just plain going to rock. I enjoyed the original movie back in the day but this is what we need for 2021. Just having Hiroyuki Sanada as my favourite Scorpion.

1995 Mortal Kombat had better looking characters, better music, Johnny Cage, better story, better scenery, better "get over here!" I knew they would screw it up. Replaced Johnny Cage with a lame character named Cole and cast Steve Harvey as Jax. SMH.

I just noticed in the movies they are trying to make sonya and mileena the rivals and not focusing on kitana and mileena's story. Mk annihilation and this movie looks like a mileena and sonya will happen again.

Because you clearly don't know, and its fine. In the original console version on MK 1 and 2, Scorpion says "Come Here!" It wasn't until MK 3 that Get Over Here was adopted for the console version of the games. He said both Come Here, and Get Over Here in the Arcade version of the first two games, but the developer had to cut it down to one because of the memory of the cartridge. As the home console versions are the ones a lot of people (Granted, not all... I grew up playing the Arcade myself) are familiar with, Come Here is the line that they'd be used to from those games as it would have been the original, prior to being replaced by Get Over Here as the main taunt.
